Myth Quest Stories

This week Y3 have been getting ready for their Myth Quest Day. We have been following the story of Micah and the Great Tree Spirit telling a story of adventure and of course love.

Here is the Great Tree Spirit in our oak tree.

The children explored the site to collect the treasure of life to place in the Eternal Fire on the Island of Circles.

Next we began to create a story map to help in the telling of the story. The children collected materials and helped organise them into places we already knew about in the story.

After this the children made clay models of each of the characters and other props needed for the telling of the story.

Finally the story continues to its conclusion and hopefully we'll have a short film of it soon.
